Here at the heat is on, we put the knowledge of what you need directly in your hands as the homeowner, so you needn’t ask or wait for information from your plumber. Here we give you complete expert guidance for this specific designer radiator — including details of any additional parts required — so you can ensure a smooth and successful installation when your tradesman arrives.

heat output

  • Firstly, if you haven't already done so – use our heat calculator to work out your specific requirements for your room, ensuring you are selecting the correct size designer radiator in terms of the BTUs heat output it provides.

design & material

  • WILLOW V is a decorative designer radiator inspired by the interlacing patterns of hand-made wicker baskets and mats.
  • Complex and high-end construction, reflecting the intricacy of its design.
  • Ideal for living rooms, hallways, bathrooms, and feature spaces.
  • Additionally, we have created a thorough and detailed technical guide on central heating radiators, giving even more information and tips.

full range of sizes available

  • In addition to the sizes we are displaying here on the heat is on - you can view the full range of 12 different sizes of WILLOW V here on the Terma website.
  • When viewing the Terma website, heat outputs are only listed in Watts – using the column header stating 75/65/20, multiply the amounts by 3.41 to get the BTUs equivalent.
  • If you want to learn more about heat output, view our technical guide on heat output.
  • We can process a special order for any size you wish to purchase if that size is not shown on our website.

colour & finish

  • Painted in Halo.
  • Finished in a silk, smooth texture.
  • This is a standard powder paint.
  • Additionally, we have created a thorough and detailed technical guide on paint finishes and colours, giving even more information and tips.

installation & orientation

  • This is a vertical model and cannot be installed horizontally.
  • Delivers high heat output due to its well-engineered convection channels.

advice on which valves to purchase for piped installation (central heating)

  • This radiator is not supplied with valves, as we have such a vast selection of styles & colours to choose from. We do not include them (like some other retailers) as we cannot make this choice on your behalf.
  • However, we make choosing the correct valves very easy for you. With our years of experience, we know once homeowners have chosen their radiator the valve selection process can be a little daunting — and even the plumber won't make the best choice for you in terms of aesthetics. You need to do this yourself, as you are left looking at the installation once the plumber has gone. We often speak to homeowners who have been disappointed with how a poor valve choice or absence of pipes & covers has let down the look — don't let this be you.
  • On the right-hand side of this page we have pre-filtered our vast selection of valves to show you only the optimal valves for this specific model — easy. You’ll see two sections:
    • 1. matching/complementary colour valve & pipe sets — these could be an exact match (painted using the same paint as the radiator) or the closest complementary match (dependent on availability). These valves come complete with pipes and wall covers which will conceal the standard copper or plastic pipes of your central heating system for a much more professional looking finish.
    • 2. standard valve & pipe sets — these are more economical standard valves which are not painted using the same paints as the radiator, so will never match. Pipes and covers must be purchased separately.
  • Which orientation of valves do I need: 3-Axis (corner), straight or angled?
    • 1. Pipework through the wall — typically most modern pipework comes through the wall now and for this you'll need angled valves. If your pipework is not yet in, our advice is to ask your plumber to bring this through the wall.
    • 2. Pipework through the floor — you'll need straight valves.
  • Additionally, we have created a thorough and detailed technical guide on radiator valves, giving even more information and tips.

safety & compliance

  • Fully built and tested to EN442 standards and UKCA certified.
  • Heat outputs are independently verified by an external testing house to ensure accuracy.

guarantee & warranty

  • Supplied with a 12-year manufacturer’s warranty for long-term reassurance.
