advice on which valves to purchase for piped installation (central heating)
- This radiator is not supplied with valves, as we offer a wide selection of styles and colours. We do not include them (as some retailers do) because we cannot make this aesthetic choice on your behalf.
- We make choosing the correct valves easy. With years of experience, we know that once a radiator is chosen, valve selection can feel daunting — and even plumbers rarely make the best aesthetic choice. As the homeowner, this decision is best made by you, as you’ll be living with the finished look.
- On the right-hand side of this page we have pre-filtered our valve selection to show only the optimal valves for this specific model. You’ll see two sections:
- 1. matching / complementary colour valve & pipe sets — either an exact match (painted using the same paint as the radiator) or the closest complementary match, depending on availability. These include pipes and wall covers for a professional finish.
- 2. standard valve & pipe sets — more economical valves not painted to match the radiator. Pipes and covers must be purchased separately.
-
Which orientation of valves do I need: straight or angled?
- 1. Pipework through the wall — most modern installations use wall-fed pipework, requiring angled valves. If pipework is not yet installed, we recommend asking your plumber to bring it through the wall.
- 2. Pipework through the floor — requires straight valves.
- Additionally, we have created a thorough and detailed technical guide on radiator valves, giving even more information and tips.
