advice on which valves to purchase for piped installation (central heating)
- This radiator is not supplied with valves, as we have such a vast selection of styles & colours to choose from. We do not include them (like some other retailers) as we cannot make this choice on your behalf.
- However, we make choosing the correct valves very easy for you. With our years of experience, we know once homeowners have chosen their radiator the valve selection process can be daunting — and even the plumber won't always make the best aesthetic choice. You need to do this yourself, as you are left looking at the installation once the plumber has gone. We often speak to homeowners who are disappointed by how a poor valve choice, or the absence of pipes and covers, has let down the overall look — don’t let this be you.
- On the right-hand side of this page we have pre-filtered our valve selection to show you only the optimal valves for this specific model — easy. You’ll see two sections:
- 1. matching / complementary colour valve & pipe sets — note: we don’t offer any matching colour valves for this specific colour.
- 2. standard valve & pipe sets — more economical standard valves which are not painted using the same paints as the radiators, so will never be an exact match. We show the closest colour only. These are not sold as sets; pipes and covers must be purchased separately.
-
which orientation of valves do I need: 3-axis (corner), straight or angled?
- 1. pipework through the wall — possible, but not typical for this style of radiator. For wall-fed pipework you will need 3-axis corner valves.
- 2. pipework through the floor — you’ll need angled valves, which is the preferred option for this model.
- Additionally, we have created a thorough and detailed technical guide on radiator valves, giving even more information and tips.
