Here at the heat is on, we put the knowledge of what you need directly in your hands as the homeowner, so you needn’t ask or wait for information from your electrician. Here we give you complete expert guidance for this specific electric towel rail — including details of any additional parts required — so you can ensure a smooth and successful installation when your tradesman arrives.
heat output
- Firstly, if you haven't already done so - use our heat calculator to work out your specific requirements for your room to ensure you are looking at the right size electric radiator - in terms of the Watts / Kilowatts heat output it gives.
design & material
- WARP T ONE has large flat bars that protrude out towards you, offering a modern, bold design.
- Features the internalised ONE heating element which is fully integrated within the towel rail for a minimalist design when compared to other electric towel rails on the market.
- Sleek, concealed design with no external components of the heating element visible at the bottom of the rail.
- Has the option to also fully conceal the cable from view (as seen in the lifestyle shots) - see installation section below for more notes on this.
- All electronic components are housed within the vertical bar above the controller, leaving the lowest horizontal bar as a decorative feature (it does not contain oil or heat up, but the rail still delivers the listed output). It won't be cold to the touch as the material will still conduct heat.
- Additionally, we have created a thorough and detailed technical guide on electric radiators, giving even more information and tips.
full range of sizes available
- In addition to the sizes we are displaying here on the heat is on - you can view the full range of 10 different sizes of WARP T ONE here on the Terma website.
- We can process a special order for any size you wish to purchase if that size is not shown on our website.
control & functionality
- The Terma Internal ONE heating element has two heat settings: 45°C and 60°C, indicated by multi-coloured LED.
- It is controlled through one button located on the underside.
- 2-hour drying function for convenient timed heating.
- Compatible with external timers, retaining settings when switched off.
- Includes an Infrared (IR) receiver for use with Terma TTIR portable thermostat / controllers or DTIR wall mounted controllers (sold separately).
- Accurate internal temperature regulation for consistent heating performance.
colour & finish
- Painted in Matt Teal (RAL 5018).
- Finished in a matt, smooth texture.
- This is a standard powder paint.
- Additionally, we have created a thorough and detailed technical guide on paint finishes and colours giving even more information and tips.
- Don't see the model listed in the exact colour you are looking for - you can order almost any radiator in any bespoke colour - click to view our PDFs showcasing the full colour palettes on offer.
installation & features
- Element is pre fitted inside the electric towel rail - located on the right hand side (E8 connection). If you would like the heating element on the left hand side (E1 connection) please contact us to place this as a special order. Think about where your electric supply will be so the wire has the shortest distance to travel.
- Control button discreetly located on the underside, with a miniature front-facing LED panel.
- Supplied with 1.5m cable for connection to a fused spur (no plug included).
- Cable exits discreetly through the bottom mounting bracket above the heating element and can be fed in through the wall for a super neat installation (or if you cannot trowel out your wall you may leave the cable hanging free).
- Quick and simple installation; no commissioning required.
- This electric towel rail is not supplied with a plug - so must be connected to a switched fused spur - or you can mount a plug (if this is not being installed in a bathroom). If you'd like a model pre fitted with a plug look at the Wi-Fi options as the VEO elements are pre fitted with a UK plug.
safety & compliance
- IPX5 rated – safe for use in bathrooms.
- Oil-filled for efficient, consistent heat distribution.
- Class 1 electrical appliance.
- UKCA approved.
guarantee, warranty and replacing an internalised heating element
- 2-year manufacturer’s warranty (heating element).
- Usual lifespan of a heating element is 4 to 7 years dependent on use.
- At end of life, if you wish to replace an internalised heating element, the unit needs to go back to Terma UK for replacement due to how it is made. Alternatively, you can simply purchase a whole new unit.
- Note: You can also special order an alternative version of this towel rail with the external ONE version, where the element is the same colour but sits on the outside of the model and can be easily replaced at end of life. Click here to see what an external ONE element looks like.
- 12-year manufacturer’s warranty (radiator).
