Description

design & functionality

  • 150 x 50mm plastic colour sample chip, supplied in the exact shade and finish of your chosen radiator.
  • Each sample is produced using the same powder-coating or wet-paint process (as appropriate) used on all Terma radiators, ensuring a true and accurate colour match.
  • Provides a reliable way to assess the finish, tone and texture before committing to a full radiator purchase.

practical uses

  • Ideal for comparing against other interior choices such as:
    • Curtains
    • Carpets
    • Artwork and picture frames
    • Paints and wallpapers
    • Furniture and accessories
  • Helps ensure your radiator or towel rail complements the overall room design and décor.

further useful notes on the different brass / gold finishes from terma

  • Terma offers 4 gold/brass type colours and here are the differences between them for reference - of course buying chips of one of more of these brass / gold colours will help you to compare them for yourself:
    • brass [premium wet paint] - this is the most classic, warm, true to real brass colour - this is a premium wet paint (as opposed to a powder paint) which is painted using a hand finished liquid paint so is more expensive to produce and will cost approx. 20% more - but creates a deeper more metallic type finish.
    • blackened brass [premium wet paint] the same base colour as above but features subtle black overpainted brush marks for a slightly aged, sophisticated look, note: the brushing is done by hand so doesn't look the same on any 2 models. (note: you may see this colour also called "brushed brass" elsewhere (and as listed on the back of the physical sample if you buy one) - which is a slightly confusing name assigned to this coloiur by terma in poland - as the 'brushed' part refers to the over brushing in black - not a 'brushed' (i.e. smooth matt) finish as per terminology used in the UK - hence here at the heat is on we renamed this colour from "brushed brass" to "blackened brass" to make it much easier to understand.
    • halo [powder paint] - this is more of dusty gold colour which is not quite a brass and a slightly darker gold colouring. It is less metallic in its appearance.
    • anodic gold [powder paint] - this is more of brighter gold colour - compared to halo so slightly brighter in tone by comparison.
